Through our weekly build sessions where we complete all of the heavy-duty tasks such as cutting and welding, the team has so far welded the entire front portion of the chassis. We expect to finish the welding of chassis with in the next two build sessions to stay on schedule. Along with the welding of the chassis, the team has just about finished the battery box. Once the battery box is finished we will be able to use its power to start working on the rest of the electrical systems that will prepare us for the addition of the solar cells and motor. Finally, during this past build session, the team has started to assemble the steering system on to the front of the chassis too.
